Oktoberfest Festival, Saturday – October 6, 2012
Get your lederhosen ready and come out to Von Jakob, the only German inspired winery/brewery in Southern Illinois, to celebrate Oktoberfest. Join us for a great event filled with award-winning wine, delicious craft beer, fantastic food and, of course tons of fun. The festival will feature an authentic German menu with such foods as our pork schnitzel, brats with sauerkraut, pretzels with dipping sauce, and more. Also, featuring authentic German music by the Waterloo German Band. We hope to see you there. Prost!

Wino-Palooza, Saturday – September 8, 2012
Join us for our first Winopalooza Festival featuring One More Round – A Tribute to Johnny Cash. One More Round, based out of St. Louis, MO, is lead by lead vocalist Bill Forness whose naturally low voice is reminiscent of the late great Johnny Cash. The band also performs hits from such artists as Hank Williams and Elvis Presley. Join us for a day filled with wine, beer, food, and some great live entertainment! Live Music from 4:30 to 7:30pm. $6 Cover Charge (includes free wine tasting).

Von Jakob has a few upcoming events that we are excited to share with all of you: VonJakobville and the Help Harrisburg Fundraiser.
This is our 6th annual summer VonJakobville festival, featuring headliner and famed Jimmy Buffet cover band, The Boat Drunks. New to the festival this year is an opening act to keep you early birds entertained – The Town Drunks. (A fitting name, no?) Hailing from St. Louis, The Town Drunks cover everything from Tom Petty to Jimmy Buffett. The music is sure to be spectacular, the beer and wine will be flowing and the food will be delicious – make sure to join us for VonJakobville on Saturday July 28, 2012. Our Help Harrisburg Fundraiser happening on Sunday, July 15 will raise money for those affected by the devastating tornado that tore through Southern Illinois less than four months ago. There will be live music from 12:00-6:30 p.m. featuring The Jerry Ford Orchestra and The Phonics. Some of our neighbors have lost everything. Please join us on July 15 in an effort to support this still suffering community as best as we can. Thank you. Click here for more information.
