This room features custom dark stained oak wood throughout giving it a rustic yet elegant feel. Also, from this room you are able to peek into our Brew House and Finishing Room where all the fine Von Jakob beer is brewed. 1. My husband and I will be staying at Woodland Cabins in the area, and are interested in visiting the winery/brewery. We would like to come see the Dirtwater Fox band as well. I assume by the hours listed this event will happen at the Alto pass location. Can you confirm this? Also, is there a dinner menu? Do we need to pre order any tickets for the winery, or the band show?
    Thank you
    Stephanie

    • Stephanie,
Yes, this event will be held at our Alto Pass location (Address: 230 Hwy 127 Alto Pass, IL 62905). On that day we will be serving food until about 6:30pm. To see our menu visit our website and click on the Daily Lunch Menu drop down selection when you put your cursor over the Restaurant tab at the top of the page. This entertainment is free so there is no ticket requirement. Thank you for your inquiry and we hope you have a great time visiting.
      Sincerely,
      Von Jakob

  2. I have just opened a woderful Country Red. As I have bought from you on several ocations, I can’t tell which year it is. The only numbers a are for yuor scaning. Please advise.

    • We don’t put years on our Country Red because there are some years that we blend grapes from different growing seasons to produce this wine. This is a very common practice and the reason why a lot of wines don’t have years on them. However, I believe the vintage we have out now for Country Red is actually all from 2011′s harvest. Hope this helps.
